KATHMANDU, May 13: The courts across the country, including the Supreme Court, will be closed till May 16 due to the local level elections.
Courts across the country to be closed for two weeks
According to the Supreme Court’s Information Officer Devendra Dhakal, the courts across the country will be closed for four consecutive days from May 13 to May 16 due to local level elections and public holidays.
The Supreme Court will remain open from 11AM to 3PM on May 16 for the purpose of hearing habeas corpus cases, in accordance with Article 26 of the Justice Administration Act, 2016.
