CPC Tibet Secretary Wang Junzheng arrives in Kathmandu

KATHMANDU, Nov 8: The Secretary of Communist Party of China (CPC) Tibet Autonomous Region Wang Junzheng has arrived in Kathmandu for a five-day visit.

KATHMANDU, Nov 8: The Secretary of Communist Party of China (CPC) Tibet Autonomous Region Wang Junzheng has arrived in Kathmandu for a five-day visit.


National Assembly Vice-Chairperson Urmila Aryal welcomed him at Tribhuvan International Airport.

During his stay in Nepal, he is scheduled to hold high-level meetings from Wednesday. He is scheduled to meet Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal and others. The meetings will focus on discussions related to bilateral cooperation.


PM Dahal’s Foreign Affairs Adviser Rupak Sapkota said that the implementation of the agreements on issues related to the Tibet region will be specially discussed during the meeting.


Wang, who is the executive head of Tibet, will also visit Pokhara.
