KATHMANDU, Nov 27: The CPN (Maoist Center) is holding its municipal convention in 753 local levels across the country on Saturday. The party has organized a total of 776 municipal level conferences including the liaison coordination committee and the special committee.
CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal will be addressing all the municipal conventions through virtual means at 1PM today. The conference will elect the representatives for the provincial convention, according to the party's chief of central election commission Bishnu Pukar Shrestha. The party’s provincial convention will be held on December 11 while the national convention is scheduled for December 26 to 28.

All the preparations for the municipal conventions have been finished. Earlier, new leadership was selected by holding ward conventions in all districts on November 19.
