KATHMANDU, July 13: CPN (Maoist Center) has demanded immediate resignation of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.

In a meeting of the party's office-bearers held this morning, it warned of tabling a motion of no confidence and decided to withhold the support for passage of the budget from the parliament, Spokesperson, Pampha Bhusal, told the journalists.

The meeting held at CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal's residence at Lazimpat wrapped up with a conclusion that the government has been reduced to minority in the wake of the withdrawal of its support.

The Center on Tuesday took the decision to leave the government citing the ruling party – CPN-UML – had failed to comply with the nine-point agreement reached earlier. The parliamentary session is scheduled to begin at 11: 00 am. RSS
