CPN shuts down five districts demanding ‘unconditional’ release of its leaders

ROLPA, March 7: The general strike called by Netra Bikram Chand’s Communist Party of Nepal has affected life in five districts. The Party, which was involved in the bombing of Ncell towers and its headquarter earlier this month, called the strike demanding ‘unconditional’ release of its leaders and cadres.

ROLPA, March 7: The general strike called by Netra Bikram Chand’s Communist Party of Nepal has affected life in five districts. The Party, which was involved in the bombing of Ncell towers and its headquarter earlier this month, called the strike demanding ‘unconditional’ release of its leaders and cadres.

The strike in Rolpa, Dang, Rukum, Pyuthan and Salyan has halted vehicular movements and shut down schools and market place. The CPN has also demanded that the police must end obstructing the party’s assemblies and meet.
