CPN (Unifies Socialist) CWC meeting in Kathmandu

KATHMANDU, March 8: According to party leader Dilu Pant, the meeting will hold policy-level discussions in view of upcoming elections as the party seeks to secure its successful presence through the polls.

KATHMANDU, March 8: The CPN (Unified Socialist) has scheduled a meeting of its Central Working Committee (CWC) on March 9-10 in Kathmandu. According to party leader Dilu Pant, the meeting will hold policy-level discussions in view of upcoming elections as the party seeks to secure its successful presence through the polls. More, it will discuss other issues including the contemporary political developments, party organizational expansion efforts, and the effective operation of sister organizations.    


Party Chair Madhav Kumar Nepal will present a political report highlighting the existing party organizational status, the causes to endorse the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) compact agreement, and the latest political developments in the country.

Besides, the meeting is expected to discuss ways for continuing with the existing political alliance till the upcoming elections. The politburo meeting on Monday finalized the agenda of the CWC meeting.
