CPN (United) decides to integrate with CPN (Maoist Center)

KATHMANDU, Oct 9: The CPN (United) is to unite with the CPN (Maoist Centre). A politburo meeting of the party held today formally decided to integrate with the Maoist Center.

KATHMANDU, Oct 9: The CPN (United) is to unite with the CPN (Maoist Centre). A politburo meeting of the party held today formally decided to integrate with the Maoist Center. 


As stated by party chair Ganesh Shah, the decision had been already taken to go for the unification process with the Maoist Center and the party's central committee meeting scheduled for tomorrow will endorse the decision, paving the way for the party to begin unification process.

In the meeting, party general secretary Sunil Manandhar floated the proposal for party unification. The party is in touch with the Maoist Center for unification. 


The party had already decided to take part in the election with the election symbol of 'sickle and hammer', the election symbol of Maoist Centre. (RSS)
