Issuing an 11-point Lalitpur declaration Monday, the organization also appealed to the government to immediately set up a high-level national mechanism to ensure transitional justice arguing that the Ministry of Peace and Reconstruction has been dissolved. Similarly, the organization has asked the government to provide special allowances and employment opportunities to the victim families.

The organization has expressed serious concerns over the transfer of 414 complaints relating to enforced disappearances to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission by the Commission of Inquiry into Enforced Disappearances. It has also demanded security for the families of the victims as well as protection of vital evidence of the conflict-era cases.
