Dahal assigned to select members in vacant posts

KATHMANDU, July 18: The CPN (Maoist Center) has given responsibility to take final decision regarding the members to be picked up in the vacant posts at Politburo, Secretariat and Headquarters to its Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal.

KATHMANDU, July 18: The CPN (Maoist Center) has given responsibility to take final decision regarding the members to be picked up in the vacant posts at Politburo, Secretariat and Headquarters to its Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal.


A meeting of the Party Headquarters held at the residence of Party Chairman Dahal at Lazimpat on Monday, took the decision in this regard.

A press release issued by the Dahal's Secretariat after the meeting stated that the responsibility has been given to chair Dahal to take final decision regarding the members to be appointed at different structure.


Out of 255-member politburo, 77 posts are vacant. Today's meeting has given responsibility to appoint 66 members out of 77 in politburo.


Similarly, there are 18 posts vacant in Secretariat and 10 in Headquarters as well. The meeting will be again held at 5:00 pm today itself.


The meeting also discussed on the latest political development and vote-of -no-confidence motion registered in the parliament against the Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, among others, it is learnt. RSS
