Dahal election expenditure RS 994,542 only

The election expenditure of Puspa Kamal Dahal is put at Rs 994,542. Similarly, Dahal’s nearest rival, Bikram Pandey, of Rastriya Prajatantra Party (Democratic) submitted the election expenditure details of Rs 939,940, according to the District Election Office.

CHITWAN, Jan 17: Former Prime Minister and CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman, Pushpa Kamal Dahal has submitted his election expenditure details. 


As per the information, the expenditure by Dahal is put at Rs 994,542. Similarly, Dahal’s nearest rival, Bikram Pandey, of Rastriya Prajatantra Party (Democratic) submitted the election expenditure details of Rs 939,940, according to the District Election Office.

Chief at the District Election Office, Chitwan, Hari Dhakal, said that Dahal, elected as a member of House of Representatives from Chitwan-3, submitted his election expenditure details through Secretariat member of the party, Surya Subedi’Pathik’. 


Out of 95 candidates, who were in the election race, in Chitwan district, only 67 candidates have so far submitted their election expenditure details. 


Similarly, CPN (UML) leader, Surendra Pandey, elected as House of Representatives from Chitwan-1, spent Rs 1.357 million while election expenditure by Rajendra Burlakoti of the Nepali Congress, the nearest rival of Pandey, is put at Rs 1.629 million. 


Likewise, Member of House of Representative from Chitwan-2, Krishna Bhakta Pokhrel, spent Rs 1.439 million while his nearest rival, Sheshnath Adhikary, of NC submitted expenditure details of Rs 1.393 million.
