KATHMANDU, Oct 9: Chairman of the CPN (Maoist Center), Pushpa Kamal Dahal is going to Gorkha to contest the election from Gorkha Constituency No 2.
Dahal is going to Gorkha along with Nepal Samajwadi Party Chairman Baburam Bhattarai and Maoist Center leader Narayankaji Shrestha. Bhattarai has also given information about the trio’s Gorkha trip through social media.
Bhattarai wishes for Dahal’s victory in Gorkha-2
The constituency of both Bhattarai and Shrestha is Gorkha-2. Bhattarai defeated Shrestha in the 2074BS election. This time, Dahal left Chitwan and came to Gorkha amidst the discussion of who will contest the election between these two.
District Secretary of Maoist Center, Deepak Timalsina said that Dahal is scheduled to register his nomination at the office of Provincial Assembly Constituency No 2 in Gorkha Municipality-8 Dalbhanjyang.
Meanwhile, as there is a common candidate from the ruling coalition, the coalition parties including the Nepali Congress and Maoists are preparing to gather their cadres and go for filing their candidacies along with musical instruments.
