KATHMANDU, Sept 4: Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba and Chairman of CPN (Maoist Center) Pushpa Kamal Dahal held a meeting this morning at the Prime Minister's Residence in Baluwatar.
It is said that the two discussed the issue of seat allocation in the elections to the House of Representatives and the provincial assemblies to be held on November 20.

The meeting between the top leaders took place at a time when the task force formed under the leadership of NC leader Krishna Prasad Sitaula was active, which was formed for an alliance of the ruling political parties to go to the upcoming elections together.
The task force led by NC leader Sitaula, which includes representatives of all the parties in the ruling coalition, has been working to reach consensus in recent days. Prime Minister Deuba's press chief Govind Pariyar said that there will be meetings and discussions between the party leaders at various stages throughout the day.
