KATHMANDU, Jan 2: The Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Madhav Kumar Nepal faction of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has announced their second phase of nation-wide protests against the dissolution of the lower house.
Organizing a press conference on Saturday, the Dahal-Nepal faction announced a month-long nation-wide protests beginning January 4.
The rival faction has decided to submit a memorandum to Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on January 8 from all 77 district administration offices demanding apology and restoration of the dissolved parliament.

The Supreme Court is yet to give its decision on the case of dissolution of parliament.
Following the dissolution, protests and demonstrations have erupted across the country.
The Oli-led faction is currently holding a mass gathering at Nepal Academy Hall, Kathmandu.
Earlier on Tuesday, the Dahal-Nepal faction had organized a nation-wide protest.
