Dead bodies of Singh and Raya not taken way for three days from district hospital

SARLAHI, July 3: The dead bodies of the young man who was shot dead by the police on Sunday in Sarlahi and the child drowned in the sand pit near Banke river have not been taken away from the District Hospital based in the district headquarters Malangwa for the last three days.

A clash ensued between the cadres of the ruling Nepal Communist Party and those of  Rastriya Janata Party- Nepal after the child was drowned in the sand pit near  Banke river.


Amit Raya, 11, a resident of Ishworpur Municipality was drowned in the sand pit near Banker river. Saroj Narayan Singh,28, was shot dead by the police who opened fire on the agitating crowd in the course of dispersing them.
