With the access to internet, the trend of producing web series is on the rise. A decade ago, only television serials were produced and that would be for different television channels. Amidst a special program held on Monday in Kathmandu, ‘Dear Love’—a new web series showcasing a love story was released.
Rubusha Creative Workshop Channel has produced the web series and it will be aired through Rubusha Channel on YouTube. Penned and directed by Bibek Rasailee, the series is based on the love story of young generation. ‘Dear Love’ features actors Dipson Bhattarai, Karina Kakshapati, Rashmi Bhatta, Rabin Bogati, Kiran Chand, Kalyan Thapa, Ishika Jabegu Limbu, Deenesh Gurung, Kedar Shrestha and Gaurav Sapkota.

“We all are young. So, it was challenging to make a web series,” producer Rukman Limbu said. “We didn’t compromise on our budget as we believe in quality rather than quantity,” he added.
The series is slated to premiere on April 28.
