DANG, Dec 21: As many as 20 people died while 13 others sustained serious injuries after a bus (Ba 4 Kha 9766) skidded off the road and plunged into a deep gorge in Tulsipur Sub Metropolitan City -3 of the district on Friday.
The ill-fated bus carrying students of Rapti Technical School based in Dang Deukhuri was returning to Dang from a field visit to Mulpani Botanical Garden in Salyan district when it met with the accident. It fell some 700 meters after the driver lost control over the wheels of the bus.

According to District Police Office, Dang, bodies of 16 deceased have been retrieved so far. However, their identities are yet to be established.
