KATHMANDU, Nov 4: The number of people who died in the 6.14 magnitude earthquake in Jajarkot and Rukum West district last night has reached 133. The epicenter of the earthquake that struck at 11:47 PM was located in Lamidada, Jajarkot.
According to the Karnali Province Emergency Operations Center, Jajarkot recorded 95 and Rukum West 38 fatalities.

By 11:30 AM, the death toll included 67 women and 29 men in Jajarkot, along with 19 men and 19 women in Rukum West. Furthermore, the earthquake resulted in injuries, with 55 people affected in Jajarkot, 72 in Rukum West, 2 in Dailekh, 1 in Salyan, and 5 in Jumla.
