DPM Upendra Yadav resigns as JSP-Nepal quits the government

KATHMANDU, May 13: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Health and Population, Upendra Yadav, has tendered his resignation. Yadav submitted his resignation to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal this morning.

KATHMANDU, May 13: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Health and Population, Upendra Yadav, has tendered his resignation. Yadav submitted his resignation to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal this morning.


"This morning, I submitted my resignation to Prime Minister Dahal. Given the current political situation, I find it untenable to continue my cooperation with the government," he stated.

Yadav expressed his gratitude to the Prime Minister for the opportunity to serve in the government until today.


In addition to Deputy Prime Minister and Health Minister Yadav, Minister of State for Forest and Environment, Deepak Karki, has also resigned. Consequently, the Janata Samajwadi Party has formally stepped down from the government.
