She said she represented a nonprofit foundation named Adventure of Humanity as the brand ambassador. She further added that the foundation has partnered with Cannes Film Festival since 1999 and she would continue to visit Cannes Film Festival representing the foundation in the future.

About the rumors on her red carpet walk and photographs, she shared, “There is only one red carpet and all the invitees do walk the red carpet which I too walked on. However, there is a red carpet barricade where the invitees are specially mentioned and announced to walk. These invitees, who are mentioned to walk on the red carpet barricade, are photographed. Popular brand ambassadors such as actors Aishwarya Rai, Deepika Padukone and Sonam Kapoor who represented the brand Loreal--one of the main sponsors of the film festival-- and those who have been invited by the festival director such global icons walk on the red carpet barricade. And others walk normally outside that section.”

She also said it was the most beautiful experience of her life in terms of a filmmaker. According to her, there are generally three categories of invitees who get to walk on the red carpet barricade—cast and crew of the shortlisted films for the festival, brand ambassadors of the sponsors for film festival and global icons who are invited by festival director— and she did not come in any of these categories.

Priyanka added, “I got to learn so much in terms of networking and communicating. And I am not ashamed of saying that I did not fall under these categories. This was my first visit and I learned a lot from this experience.  "I will prepare myself for my next visit to the Film Festival,
