Dahal, Deuba discuss nat'l consensus government

KATHMANDU, July 11: President of main opposition party Nepali Congress, Sher Bahadur Deuba and ruling party CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal held a meeting on the issues relating to the formation of national consensus government, implementation of the constitution and contemporary affairs of the country on Monday.

KATHMANDU, July 11: President of main opposition party Nepali Congress, Sher Bahadur Deuba and ruling party CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal held a meeting on the issues relating to the formation of national consensus government, implementation of the constitution and contemporary affairs of the country on Monday.



In the meeting held at Singhadurbar-based NC parliamentary party office this afternoon, the two leaders discussed the matters including the formation of national consensus government, said Deuba's private secretary Keshab Joshi.



During the meet, Maoist Centre Chairperson Dahal had put forth a proposal seeking NC support in the formation of national consensus government.



Earlier, a meeting of the Maoist Centre held this morning had mandated chair Dahal to hold discussion with different political parties to garner support for a national consensus government. RSS
