Stating that in agricultural countries, farmers complain that they do not get a bag of urea fertilizer after paying money, Lingden said, "Billions of money is allocated for fertilizer. However, time goes by making necessary arrangements for securing commission. This is a story that repeats every year. Therefore, people have to vote responsibly this time as they don’t have the right to spoil the future of their children.”

Stating that the RPP has fielded candidates in most constituencies, he said that none of the coalition parties, including the Nepali Congress and Maoists, have fielded more than 100 candidates. He claimed that none of the coalition parties would have the strength to form the government on their own.
