Police nabs most wanted criminal Barud Singh Yadav

RAUTAHAT, March 26:  A wanted criminal by Nepal Police, Barud Singh Yadav alias Surendra Yadav commander and district in-charge of Janatantrik Tarai Mukti Morcha was arrested on Sunday night.

RAUTAHAT, March 26:  A wanted criminal by Nepal Police, Barud Singh Yadav alias Surendra Yadav commander and district in-charge of Janatantrik Tarai Mukti Morcha was arrested on Sunday night.


Under the command of Jwala Singh led Janatantrik, Yadav had been living in hiding. He was involved in kidnapping of eight year Golu Raya from Sarlahi, Barahathawa-4 on June 1, 2017. Yadav had taken bribe of two millions.

In addition to the kidnapping, Yadav had been charged with two counts of murder, abduction and kidnapping, extortion and explosion.


“There are six pending cases against Yadav”, said Sarlahi Superintendent of Police Mahamad Masaud Ali Khan said. He further added that Yadav was arrested from Sarlahi on Sunday night.


However, the Central Investigation Bureau claimed that they had arrested Yadav from Sitamadhi of India and handed him over to District Police Office, Sarlahi.


District Police Office, Rautahat said that there were many cases against Yadav, a resident of Garuda municipality-6, Amarpati. According to Rautahat’s Superintendent and chief of police Yagya Binod Pokharel, Yadav was one of the most wanted criminals for four major cases including arson and bomb explosion.
