KATHMANDU, Jan 16: The Foreign Employment Office, Kathmandu, under the Department of Foreign Employment (DoFE), is issuing labor permits through an online system from today.

The office has stated that the work of labor permit is being done only through the online system to make the labor permit ‘faceless, paperless and cashless’ in order to provide fast, quick and transparent complaint-free service.
Ramesh Aryal, chief of the Foreign Employment Office, said that the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security has directed it to provide services to the workers going for foreign employment in a simple and easy way without any hassle by using modern technology.
