DoI employee arrested for creating fake documents to send Nepalis abroad

KATHMANDU, Dec 13: An employee of the Department of Immigration (DoI), Narbir Khadka, has been arrested on the charge of making fake documents and facilitating sending Nepali citizens abroad on visit visas.

KATHMANDU, Dec 13: An employee of the Department of Immigration (DoI), Narbir Khadka, has been arrested on the charge of making fake documents and facilitating sending Nepali citizens abroad on visit visas.

Khadka was arrested by the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office of Nepal Police on Wednesday. He has been accused of sending Nepali citizens abroad illegally by making fraudulent documents.


According to Ravindra Regmi, spokesperson for the Valley Crime Investigation Office, he was arrested while the police were monitoring a gang that was sending Nepali citizens abroad through the use of fake documents.
