DoI to complete registration process through online

KATHMANDU, June 19: The Department of Industry (DoI), strengthening the capacity of its online service launched four months ago to receive documents for the registration of industry, is to complete the entire registration process through an e-system.

KATHMANDU, June 19: The Department of Industry (DoI), strengthening the capacity of its online service launched four months ago to receive documents for the registration of industry, is to complete the entire registration process through an e-system.



Onwards, the verification of documents will take place through the online system and will be forwarded to the authority concerned via the same channel. To date, the e-copies of documents sent to the Department by clients, seeking the registration of their business, are printed for the verification.



Until now clients would get verified copies of their documents in the printed form and submit it to the authority concerned.



In the initial phase, the Department online service was for only submitting the documents. Later, it started collecting the signature of clients through the online. "With the launching of online facility to collect signature of service seekers, there is no need to print the documents for verification, it can be done electronically," Department Spokesperson Durga Prasad Bhusal said.



Initially, this service is limited as it will serve only 200 people. It will be extended gradually. RSS
