American President Trump attempted to show off his football knowledge in meeting with Portugal President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa but ended with an epic fail.
American President Trump tried to muscle in on the World Cup talk when he met his Portugal counterpart Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa this week.
He greeted Rebelo de Sousa at the White House by hailing Cristiano Ronaldo as the best the game had ever seen.

But just when the 72-year-old looked to be heading for an unlikely home win with his insight into the game, he snatched humiliating defeat from the jaws of victory.
For he then attempted a piece of skill too much for his limited ability with a follow up point over Ronaldo possibly running for office in Portugal at the end of his career.
And in doing so he managed to call the world's biggest football celebrity by the wrong name.
According to CNN, Trump started the conversation by asking Rebelo de Sousa: "So, tell me, how good a player is he? Are you impressed? They say he is the greatest ever."
The Portuguese politician responded: "I'm very much impressed. He's the best player in the world."
Donald Trump usually reserves the word "greatest" for his latest deal or appointment, but he has now bestowed it on Cristiano Ronaldo. "They say he is the greatest player," said Trump while discussing the qualities of the Real Madrid forward with De Sousa.
Trump then revealed his youngest son Barron knows everything there is to know about the Real Madrid star who has been making a huge impact at Russia 2018.
But then came the sucker punch, as Trump asked: "So will Christian (instead of Christiano) ever run for president against you?"
