KATHMANDU, Nov 16: The Department of Transport Management (DoTM) , which has been facing difficulties due to overwhelming applicants of driving license, has stopped taking online applications during office hours.

Issuing a public notice on Monday, the DoTM has expressed its inability to take applications for driving licenses between 10 am and 5 pm. The DoTM said it enforced the new rule as the large number of online applicants put excess pressure on the server, disrupting even its daily official works.
