DPM Nidhi visits Thai Ambassador's residence, extends condolences

KATHMANDU, Oct 16: Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Bimalendra Nidhi expressed condolences over the passing away of the King of Thailand, Bhumibol Adulyadej.

KATHMANDU, Oct 16: Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Bimalendra Nidhi expressed condolences over the passing away of the King of Thailand, Bhumibol Adulyadej. 



Visiting the Charge d' Affaires Ek-att Thitharam in the residence of the Thai Ambassador in Kathmandu, DPM Nidhi on Sunday extended profound sadness on the demise of the Thai monarch on the behalf of the government and the people of Nepal. 



King Bhumibol Adulyadej died on October 13, 2016 at the Siriraj Hospital in Thai capital Bangkok. He was 88. 



The late King was also known as the longest reigning monarch who reigned uninterruptedly for 70 years. 



DPM Nidhi also conveyed his deep condolences and sympathies to the royal family in Thaliand as well as the Thai government and the people of Thailand. RSS
