KATHMANDU, Oct 16: Dr Govinda KC has given a seven-day ultimatum to the government to resolve the issue of the Medical Education Commission.


Issuing a press release on Sunday, Dr KC gave a seven-day ultimatum to the government to immediately resolve the problems related to the commission's staff in coordination with the officials of the commission.

During previous meetings with Dr KC, the Minister for Education and the Chief Secretary also promised to solve the problems encountered during the appointment of staff to the commission, but both of them did not fulfill that commitment.


Dr KC has also warned that if the problem is not resolved within seven days, he will start a hunger strike.
