KATHMANDU, August 17: Deputy Director of Nepal Rastra Bank Dr Shalik Ram Pokhrel has been appointed as an expert advisor of Finance Minister Janardan Sharma.

Pokhrel has been assigned to the ministry since Wednesday as an expert advisor in the banking and financial sector. He will get his salary from Nepal Rastra Bank.
