Drafting committee formed to amend National Assembly Regulations 2075

KATHMANDU, Oct 13: The National Assembly has formed a draft committee to revise the 'National Assembly Regulations, 2075'.  


The meeting of the National Assembly held today constituted a 12-member draft committee to amend the ‘National Assembly Regulations 2075’.

The committee members include Anita Devkota, Khimlal Devkota, Jitendra Narayan Dev, Tul Prasad Bishwokarma and Dilkumari Rawal Thapa Parbati. Similarly, Bhairav Sundar Shrestha, Madan Kumari Shah Garima, Mahesh Kumar Mahara and Mohammad Khalid are also members. Similarly, Dr Bimala Rai Paudyal, Shekhar Kumar Singh and Suresh Kumar Ale Magar are also in the drafting committee.


The Drafting Committee has identified difficulties in the operation of the National Assembly Regulations 2075 regarding its operation and has prepared a draft amendment to the regulations and submitted them to the Assembly.  


It is said that the committee will select a chairman from among the members and the committee itself will make the procedure. The working period of the draft committee has been given till 31st December.


Dilkumari Rawal Thapa Parbati, Chairperson of the National Concern and Coordination Committee, presented the annual report of the National Concerns and Coordination Committee 2079/80 in the meeting.
