GORKHA, May 9: The Driver, identified as Santosh Sapkota, 27, of Belkotgadi municipality-5 was killed when a tipper(Ba 4 Kha 9506) plunged some 200 meters from the road to Budhigandaki river at Gandaki rural municipality, Benighat-8, Chiurigaunda of Gorkha last night.
Rabindra Nepal,21, Assistant Driver, is severely injured and he is ongoing for the treatment at Gajuri based hospital, said Traffic Police Chief Dayaram Paudel.

As the accident took place during the night time, the reason for the accident is yet to be verified however, investigation is going on informed the Traffic Police.
The tipper was en route to Durbung from Benighat.
