KATHMANDU, Dec 21: The Election Commission (EC) has designated polling stations and polling centers for the National Assembly member elections scheduled for January 25. There will be one polling center in each province for the elections, with two polling stations at each polling center. According to the EC, a total of 7 polling centers and 14 polling stations have been designated across the country.
The Province Election Office in Biratnagar, Morang, has been designated for the Koshi Province for the National Assembly Elections. The Mahendra Narayana Nidhi Mithila Culture Center in Janakpurdham, Dhanusha, will serve for the National Assembly Elections in Madhesh Province. Shree Butandevi Secondary School in Hetauda has been designated for Bagmati Province.

Similarly, there is a Provincial Election Office, Pokhara for Gandaki Province, and Karmachari Milan Kendra, Dang for Lumbini Province. For Karnali Province, the Provincial Election Office, Surkhet has been designated, while the Province Assembly Building in Dhangadhi, has been designated as the polling centers for the Far West Province.
Members of the provincial assemblies will cast their votes at the designated polling centers. Additionally, the EC stated that separate polling stations will be set up for the chairman, vice-chairman, Mayor, and Deputy Mayor of the urban municipalities and rural municipalities to cast their votes.
