KATHMANDU, August 7: The Election Commission (EC) is going to start the registration of political parties from today. The EC is going to start the party registration for the upcoming elections on November 20 from today.
EC Spokesperson Shaligram Sharma Poudel said that the time for party registration has been fixed from today to August 16.

According to the EC, the political party must submit its details, the number of office-bearers and members of the party's central executive committee, provincial and district committees along with the application for party registration. The date of submission of the annual audit report and the date of the last election of the party's central level and provincial level executive committee should also be mentioned.
