Education expo to be held in Bhaktapur in February first week

BHAKTAPUR, Jan 23: An education fair will be held in Bhaktapur in the first week of February on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Khwapa Secondary School, 18th anniversary of Khwapa College and 19th anniversary of Sharada Campus.

BHAKTAPUR, Jan 23: An education fair will be held in Bhaktapur in the first week of February on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Khwapa Secondary School, 18th anniversary of Khwapa College and 19th anniversary of Sharada Campus. 


The three-day expo will be organized on the premises of Khwapa College at Dekoma of Bhaktapur municipality-6 from February 5 to 7 where 10,000 visitors will participate, according to the College Chief Rupak Joshi. According to him, a total of 8,000 spectators visited the event last year. The event is held annually.

The entry will be free and students even out of the valley are expected to make it to the expo. “Students from class 11 to post-graduation level studying at science, management, and education and law faculties can visit the event.” 


A 57-member preparatory committee and 21 other sub-committees have been formed to expedite the necessary works related to the exhibition and anniversary both. 


On the eve of the expo, various other programs including oratory, drawing, quiz, basketball competitions among the students of class 8 to 12 are scheduled to be held January 25 onwards.
