Education Ministry officials visit construction site of school recovery project in Dolakha

KATHMANDU, April 30: Senior officials of the Ministry of Education visited the construction site of the School Recovery Project of Dolakha district in Nepal earlier last week.


Joint Secretary Deepak Sharma, Spokesperson of Ministry of Education, and Shankar Babu Shrestha, Director General of Dolakha District Education Office, accompanied by relevant project leaders on April 22 visited the project site in Dolakha, according to a press statement issued by the project.

During the visit, Sharma praised the quality of the project and the progress it achieved. He said that Sub-project 3 and Sub-project 4 of School Recovery Project will solve the education problems of thousands of students in Jilu and Singati districts of Dolakha making an outstanding contribution to the education of Nepal and ensuring the safety of the site personnel and the construction progress during the global pandemic of Covid-19.


At present, the construction of Sub-project 3 has been completed, the concrete structures of sub-project 4 canning hall and lecture hall and teaching building one have been completed, and the teaching building two and dormitory building are about to be capped.
