KATHMANDU, July 24: Minister of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, Pampha Bhusal has suggested moving forward unitedly in the developmental works of the country. At the opening ceremony of ‘Pako Park’ in Lalitpur Godawari Municipality Ward 12, Thecho, today, she said that since development is a continuous process, everyone’s solidarity was necessary.
Minister Bhusal said, “Even though the people cast votes for different parties during the election, we must have the same opinion concerning the development works of the country.” She expressed her belief that the park — built on public land — will help in developing a healthy lifestyle for the residents.

Emphasizing that the park — built for the convenience of the residents of Thecho — should be preserved and properly utilized, Minister Bhusal said, “It is the responsibility of the residents to enjoy as well as preserve this park.” The park, which was built at a cost of more than Rs 7.5 million, also has the necessary infrastructure for physical fitness.
The provincial assembly member of Bagmati Province, Rajkaji Maharjan, mentioned that the park was suitable for physical exercise and amusement of children. He added that an arrangement of CCTV and electricity will be made so that the park can be used 24 hours a day. In the program, Jagat Bahadur Maharjan, Ward President of Ward No. 12, also acknowledged the federal and provincial governments for their support in the development of the ward.
