KATHMANDU, Aug 4: Former Crown Princess Himani Shah has announced to set up a disaster relief fund to help the victims of natural disasters.
Himani, who is also president of Himani Trust, made the announcement during a press conference in the capital on Sunday. She said that the fund will be utilized to provide assistance to flood and landslide-hit people across the country.

Himani also unveiled a book entitled "SandeshSangraha", the compilation of speeches delivered by former king and her father-in-law Gyanendra Shah on several occasions in the past.
The Himani Trust had also extended financial assistance to earthquake-hit people in 2015.
