After securing gold medal in economics, Koirala had also worked as a middleman on behalf of one Kedar Bhattarai to increase 10 marks in five master’s degree economics program to secure him first division marks. Bhattarai, who works at Koteshwar Multiple Campus as an officer, had provided Rs 300,000 to Karmacharya through Koirala for securing first division marks.
