FAN distributes free bouquets to passengers at airport in Kathmandu

KATHMANDU, Sept 19: Floriculture Association Nepal (FAN) distributed bouquets to more than 5,000 domestic and international passengers at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) on Monday as part of its Silver Jubilee celebrations.

KATHMANDU, Sept 19: Floriculture Association Nepal (FAN) distributed bouquets to more than 5,000 domestic and international passengers at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) on Monday as part of its Silver Jubilee celebrations.

Issuing a statement on Monday, the association said that the other motive behind distributing bouquets free of cost was to create awareness of about use of flower and flower products. Volunteers of FAN distributed bouquets to 3,000 passenger at the International Terminal and 2,000 passengers at the Domestic Terminal of TIA, according to the statement. 


"Such gestures help a lot in the expansion of flower market in Nepal," Sanjiv Karki, president of FAN, in the statement. FAN has targeted to promote Nepali flowers in the international market, according to the statement.
