FCAN stages sit-in protest in front of PM’s official residence in Baluwatar (In pictures)

KATHMANDU, July 31: The Federation of Contractors’ Associations of Nepal (FCAN) has organized a one-hour sit-in with safety helmets in front of the Prime Minister's residence, Baluwatar today.

KATHMANDU, July 31: The Federation of Contractors’ Associations of Nepal (FCAN) has organized a one-hour sit-in with safety helmets in front of the Prime Minister's residence, Baluwatar today.


FCAN have staged protests against the decision regarding the extension of the deadline and the non-payment of a large sum of money to the construction workers by the Nepal government even after the end of July.

The construction workers gathered in front of the entrance of Baluwatar chanting slogans such as ‘Adjust the contract price for any term’, ‘Ensure lump-sum extension of the entire contract’ and ‘Repeal Insurance Policy 2078 BS’.
