Film artists and producers extend support for earthquake survivors

KATHMANDU, Nov 9: Film artists and producers have extended cash assistance to the earthquake survivors of Jajarkot and Rukum West.

KATHMANDU, Nov 9: Film artists and producers have extended cash assistance to the earthquake survivors of Jajarkot and Rukum West.


The cash assistance collected from individuals and institutions of artists has been deposited to the government-instituted Prime Minister Natural Disaster Support Fund.

Nepal Film Artists Association, the umbrella organization of artists, deposited Rs 39,831 to the fund for earthquake response, informed its Chairperson Mohan Niraula.


Likewise, Nepal Film Producers' Association also deposited a relief amount of Rs 100,000 to the fund, according to its Chairperson Nawal Khadka.
