ILAM, Nov 29: Property worth over Rs 10 million was destroyed by fire that broke out at a dairy at Harkate of Suryodaya Municipality-6 this morning.

The fire broke out due to a short circuit at the Pathivara Dairy Industry owned by Khagendra Shivakoti and Arjun Shivakoti. The fire started at 5.30 am, according to the Harkate police station.
The fire destroyed the dairy materials as well as damaged the machinery, it is stated. The fire was brought under control through joint efforts of locals, Nepal Police, the Armed Police Force with the help of a fire engine of the municipality. It took two hours to douse the fire.
