URLABARI (Morang), Oct 31: Property and animals amounting to Rs 250,000 were destroyed when a fire broke out in the cowshed of Jayamangal Khatiwada at Pathari Sanischare-8 in Morang today morning.
The fire ignited from the traditional oil lamps lit nearby Khatiwada's cowshed spread throughout the barn at around 2 am, reducing it to ash.

Similarly, two cows and six goats were killed in the fire.
Lokmaya Khatiwada, spouse of the cowshed owner, also sustained injuries in the incident while she attempted to put out the fire.
The fire was brought under control through joint efforts of locals, police and fire brigade. RSS
