BANEPA, August 15: A fire which broke out from a gas leakage at a restaurant has gutted properties worth Rs 1.3 million here at Karun Marg of Banepa - 8.

The fire broke out from Indreni Khaja Ghar owned by Kumar Shrestha, and spread to nearby Samjana Collection and New Fancy Tailor destroying clothes worth Rs 450,000, Area Police Office, Banepa said.
The fire gutted properties worth Rs 850,000 in the restaurant and the house where it is located, Sub Inspector Bhakta Raj Shrestha said. It took half an hour to douse the fire. RSS
