First mobile game based on Nepali movie launched

KATHMANDU, Jan 11: Sroth Code Academy launched a mobile game ‘Haku Run’ which is based on the plot of Nepali movie ‘Loot 2’. It was introduced to the general public on January 5, along with the movie’s trailer.

KATHMANDU, Jan 11: Sroth Code Academy launched a mobile game ‘Haku Run’ which is based on the plot of Nepali movie ‘Loot 2’. It was introduced to the general public on January 5, along with the movie’s trailer.



Haku Run is an infinity run game which includes the dialogues and story from the movie Loot 2. It has also used the same characters using the artist’s pictures and as the players proceed further, they keep on unlocking different levels and unveil the plot. 



The game uses mix effects of 2D and 3D layers and has added various other illustrations. It is user-friendly and so far has 14,000 downloads and 1500 user reviews. The developers aim to update the game by taking users’ suggestions.



“We aim to promote localization by our games and bring innovative ideas in the technology field. We have got many reviews from the users, and we are working on making the game better,” said Uttam Adhikari, the game developer and CEO of Sroth Code. He further added, “Nischal Basnet has been very supportive to us throughout and he also told us the plot of the movie when we gave this proposal of making a mobile game based on his movie.”



Sroth Code Academy is a creative agency that focuses on providing service and academic counseling related to the IT sector. The game is developed in collaboration with Zyba Squad, Black Horse Pictures and Princess Movies.
