KATHMANDU, April 3: Nepal ‘A’ lost the toss against Ireland Wolves in the first one-day practice match being played today and are fielding first.


Ireland captain Neil Rock won the toss and elected to bat. This match marks the beginning of a series of three one-day matches between Nepal and Ireland Wolves.

In the previous two T20 matches against the senior team, Ireland Wolves faced defeat in both encounters. However, Ireland Wolves emerged victorious in the three-match T20 series against Nepal ‘A’, securing a 2-1 win.


Nepal A boasts key players like Aarif Sheikh and Bhim Sarki, who are considered first-choice ODI players. Aarif Sheikh played a pivotal role in securing Nepal ‘A's victory in the third T20 match with his innings of 93 runs. Additionally, players like Binod Bhandari, Dev Khanal, and Arjun Saud are in Nepal ‘A's lineup.
