The official first poster of ‘Oppenheimer’ has been dropped by Universal Pictures on July 21, Thursday.

According to a report, the newly-dropped poster for Christopher Nolan’s ‘Oppenheimer’ features a silhouette of Cillian Murphy’s character wearing a suit, a tie and a hat. He is standing alongside an explosion and blaze of heavy smoke clouds. The tagline in the poster reads, “The world forever changes.”


The film stars Cillian Murphy as J Robert Oppenheimer, a theoretical physicist. The other cast members include Emily Blunt, Rober Downey Jr, Matt Damon and Florence Pugh.


According to a report of IGN, the upcoming film is based on the Pulitzer Prize winning book ‘American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J Robert Oppenheimer’ written by Kai Bird and the late Martin J Sherwin.


The film is said to hit the theaters on July 21, 2023.
