FirstPay Technology and Smart Card Nepal sign agreement on QR Payment.

KATHMANDU, June 4: An agreement has been signed between FirstPay and Smart Card Nepal on QR payment.


An agreement to this effect was signed by Chief Executive Officer Saurabh Rijal on behalf of FirstPay and Chief Executive Officer Manoj Kumar Mehta on behalf of Smart Card Nepal.

After this agreement, Nepalese merchants who have an affiliation with My Pay wallet could accept payment from different international and national wallets like WeChat pay, Union Pay, Khalti, Ime pay, Prabhu pay, Q pay, Smart QR, and many others, according to a statement issued by the company.


Manoj Kumar Mehta of MY Pay wallet said that the bonding will add value and services to Mypay wallet users, which has been aggressively expanding its market by offering different offers and schemes.


FirstPay network has been operating QR based payment system from foreign and domestic wallets. Saurabh Rijal of FirstPay clarifies that the network is in process of acquiring more than 46 leading international wallets in Nepal, according to the statement.
