JUMLA, Sept 1: Police arrested five people with modern weapons at Bumramandi-4 of the district on Wednesday night.
They were arrested along with an SMG with seven rounds of bullets, a Chinese pistol with three rounds of bullets, 300 kilograms of wild onions and Rs. 70,000 cash.

According to DSP Bishnu Hari Koirala of District Police Office, Jumla, the robbers were caught after 16 days of joint operation of Nepal Police.
Koirala further stated that the operation has been intensified around the areas of Gothichaur, Paatarashi, Chumchaur, and Dillichaur.
The investigation is still on the way to identify the five robbers, said police.
